Throughout the Ramzaan, every Muslim keeps the fast for the whole day beginning before the dawn till the time of sunset and Ramzaan is celebrated for a month. One can have two kinds of sweet vermicelli, one is known as muzafar and the other one is known as sheer. The muzafar is a dry form and sheer is in a liquid form. Both the delicacies are quite popular with people. And one can say that all the foodies look forward to Eid ul Fitr, as its other main delicacies include kebabs, biryani, chick peas and other regular food items. Costume Contacts - Make Your Eyes a Real WOW

Want to transform yourself into a werewolf, zombie or alien?
Costume contact lenses can make the transformation a complete
success. Find out what is on offer and how to get lenses that
are safe and will make everybody’s head turn.

What costume contact lenses are on offer?

There are two brands of theatrical contact lenses that offer you
the best looking, high quality lenses - Crazy Lenses by Cooper
Vision and Wild Eyes by Ciba Vision. Both companies are major
manufacturers of all types of contact lens, including corrective
lenses, color contact lenses and theatrical lenses. So if you
buy either Wild Eyes or Crazy Lenses, you can be sure you are
paying for a high quality lens.

There are hundreds of costume lens styles available. Here are
some:

  • Cat’s Eye - yellow, white, green or red, with a
vertical black pupil just like a real cat
  • White-out -
makes your eye white, good for a zombie effect
  • Black-out - makes your eye completely black
  • Red Hot
    - for red vampire eyes
  • Spirals - red, yellow and white,
    create a crazy effect
  • Fire - bright yellow flames on a
    red background, around your pupil

vessels over white background, very scary

See Halloween href="http://www.1-contact-lenses-consumer-guide.com/halloween-co
ntacts.html" target="_blank">costume contacts pictures.

There are also many smaller companies and individual artists,
who offer different designs for costume contact lenses. You can
even get custom made lenses, with any design you like.

Costume contacts safety

You might have heard that Halloween contact lenses can damage
your eyes. You shouldn’t worry; though, because high quality
lenses are absolutely safe; only improper care of them can cause
problems. If you already wear contact lenses for vision
correction, care for costume lenses is absolutely the same as
for ordinary contacts.

If you are new to contact lenses, though, be sure to consult
your eye doctor before you order yourself a pair of costume
contacts. All contact lenses come with instructions on how to
care for them. Be sure to read and follow these instructions -
it isn’t at all difficult.

Here it is, in a nut shell:

  • don’t wear your lenses for
longer than 8 hours and never sleep in them
  • only use
contact lens solution to store and disinfect your lenses, never
    use tap water
  • wash your hands before handling your
    contacts
  • never wear a lens that is torn
  • take
your costume lenses off if they irritate your eyes
  • never give your lenses to other people

How
expensive are theatrical lenses?

A few years ago, costume contacts were a luxury item, costing
several hundred dollars - but not any more! These days, if you
order your theatrical contacts from a reputable online retailer,
you can get an exciting new look for as little as $30-60.

Mass produced costume lenses like Crazy Lenses or Wild Eyes are
the most affordable. Custom made, hand-painted and scleral
lenses are a bit more costly.

Where can I get costume contact lenses?

Leading up to Halloween, you have probably seen these colorful
boxes for sale everywhere - beauty salons, flea markets, even
gas stations. However, it is not a good idea to buy your
theatrical contact lenses from these places. Most of them sell
no-brand costume contacts, so you can’t know where they were
manufactured or from what materials. Remember, the surface of
your eye is very delicate, and using paints that are not
designed for contact lenses (as is the case with the majority of
lenses available on the streets) can damage your eyes.

There are two safe ways to get costume contacts. One is to visit
an eye doctor, get a prescription and order them through your
doctor’s office. Another option is to order your costume lenses
online from trusted contact lens retailers. This way, you can
get the best price. As with most online orders, your contacts
will usually arrive in about a week, so you should place your
order in advance.

Like the idea of costume contacts? They are great fun and, with
so many designs available, you can find a style to match your
costume perfectly.

Crash

Rarely do I find myself equally liking and disliking a movie but
that is exactly where I find myself with Crash, Paul Haggis’
first film following the critically acclaimed Million Dollar
Baby.

Crash follows a group of people in L.A. as their lives
collide unexpectedly and violently over a forty-eight hour
period.

Crash works because it takes an honest and serious look at
racial, ethnic and class relations in Los Angeles a city that is
the epicenter of such tensions. Instead of just offering the
same overused and overdone stereotypes, Crash forces you to look
at what we think we know about these issues and forces you to
look at them from a point of view that may not have previously
considered.

The movie is helped in part by the amazing performances of the
cast. As star studded as the cast is that doesn’t necessarily
guarantee great acting but in Crash the actors more then deliver
and there is more then one Oscar worthy performance in the film.

Don Cheadle is outstanding as usual as a hardworking detective
whose mother loves his thug younger brother then she does him.
Matt Dillon is more then convincing as a bigoted cop who is
caring for his ailing father and Sandra Bullock’s performance as
the wasp wife of the district attorney who is very honest about
her contempt and fear of anyone who doesn’t look like her is
arguably the best of her career. It’s easy to forget that
Bullock is a pretty good actress considering her recent choices
in films (think Miss Congeniality 1 and 2 come to mind) and
rarely have we seen her in a dramatic role, but she does an
excellent job here that is more than worthy of a little gold
man.

Crash doesn’t work because in order to tell its tale it relies
too heavily on coincidence. The movie wants you to believe that
all of these lives intersect in a two day span in a way that
irrevocably changes everyone’s life and for many their view of
the world. I realize that L.A. is a small town in that everybody
knows somebody but give me a break. I don’t think Matt Dillon’s
character is the only cop in the city or Michael Pena is the
only locksmith. I don’t believe Terrance Howard’s was one of two
people driving a black navigator or one of the young thugs just
happens to have a cop for a brother. The movie tries hard to
make you believe that all the coincidences are possible but it
just doesn’t work.

I can accept that the lives of these characters intersect here
and there but the movies insistence that they all connect in
some way takes away the level of reality that the movie strives
so hard to achieve. Everyone fitting in this nice little circle
rings false and is actually completely unnecessary to the
telling of the story.

Crash also suffers because it offers little to no analysis of
these issues. It more or less says, “Here it is do with it what
you may.” I didn’t expect answers and would have been very
disappointed had the film tried to offer any but if offers very
little in the way of hope and when you lay such heavy material
on an audience you should at least offer some hope that things
can and will be better.

Despite these criticisms Crash is a must see movie. I think in a
country that has managed to convince itself that race issues no
longer exist this film is a stark reminder that that is far from
reality and that there is still a lot that needs to be done and
that should be done. Often we don’t have the opportunity or we
simply don’t want to look at the world outside of the little box
we have created for ourselves. Crash forces you to look outside
of that box and in the end I believe you will be better for it.

Craps 101 what you need to know about

Alternatively called as ?Hazard?, craps has been here since
centuries. Now the game has been brought to the visitor?s PC.
Being rated as one with the most odds, craps has been a popular
bet among gamers.

The game is full of tricks and one needs to
come up to a great experience level to actually win at the game.
The basic rules of the craps is that the roll of the set of dice
that results in a combines 2, 3 or 12 will loose the game for
you. A 7 or 11 is a game winner and thus the gamers are seen
loud around the table. The bet is placed on the table with
different numbers and chip combinations. The dice must bounce
back from the wall of the table is another basic rule of the
game.

Craps has been a popular game and the people are eager to learn
the game. The best possible way to learn it is to stand at the
table with an expert and see him do the job. But there are a lot
of casinos and websites that give paid or free craps lessons.
Being a dice game the chances of winning are evenly distributed.
However, there are researches going on how the shooter can
maximize the desired result by way of trick throwing. This is
though not encouraged too much by the casinos. But throwing is
not the only way to win a hand at the craps but the betting
strategies are also of equal importance to the players.

There have been many allegations regarding the tempering of the
dice and the way it is thrown. But that cannot be ruled out, as
the ?shooter? (as the dice thrower is also called) will always
come prepared to roll to his advantage. But the most accepted
way to play craps is to have a combined strategy of throwing and
betting. The winners believe that both work hand in hand and
they cannot be successful independent of each other. This is one
of the reasons why one needs to be playing the game in and out
to actually win at it.

A system of playing craps is that is becoming rampant these days
is one of laying it at private parties. The street crap has
actually found a new avatar at the private craps. The game
through the casinos and private set ups is gaining a lot of
popularity to the extent that the tournaments are being
organized at the casinos and the top people try to loosen their
wallet chains and bring out cash at the game of craps. As it is
a dice game then the basic pretext about winning it remains the
same. That is one need to throw it too well to win at the table.

Many game channels have also given the game of craps footage in
their airtime. Thus the essentially gambling event is now
becoming a gaming event. The popularity of the game is growing
and the followers are taking more and more chances at the
casinos. Those who cannot afford to go to the live action are
using the Internet and the television to gain the pleasure,
tricks and money from the game of craps.

Constatine

Constantine (Keanu Reeves) a man with limited time on this earth
due to his constant chain smoking, and a determination to work
his way back into heaven by killing demons that have crossed our
earthly plain, since he will be denied access because of a
suicide attempt he made as a child.

Since Constantine is based
on Catholic doctrine, suicide is a mortal sin and therefore
guarantees you a one way trip to hell, one Constantine is
desperately seeking to avoid.

The movie, for the most part, works. No one has ever argued that
Keanu is a great actor but Constantine is a vehicle that is
suited to his particular talents: brooding and looking confused.
High on action and low on dialogue, it’s a great role for a guy
who has made his career playing such characters.

Also the story itself is engaging. Who doesn’t like a little
heaven and hell, angels and demons battling it out for the souls
of humanity. Add to that an everyman kind of guy who isn’t so
devout, is fighting for the good side but has ulterior motives.
You like John Constantine because he is flawed. He is the
regular Joe who finds himself in some extraordinary situations
and ultimately does some great things, albeit for selfish
reasons.

Constantine has one of the best opening sequences you can ask
for in a movie and the special effects are realistic and
believable, if occasionally slightly over the top. The
supporting cast more then makes up for Reeves lackluster acting
as they all give pretty good performances: from Djimon Hansu as
Midnight an otherworldly figure who owns a club where the demons
can come and rest to Gavin Rossdale as Beezlebub, Satan’s right
hand man and John Constantine’s arch Nemesis and Shia LeBouf as
Jake Constantine’s young and bothersome apprentice, Chas. They
were all fun to watch.

The problems with the movie come after you’ve left the theatre.
You begin to realize that much of what you saw just didn’t make
any sense, that you have more questions then answers and that
the holes in the plot are so gaping that you wonder how did you
mange to miss them to begin with? The answer is simple: lots of
action, loud music and killer graphics when done properly, can
mask an underdeveloped plot most days of the week.

Bottom line, if you’re a Keanu Reeves fan or you enjoy the
Christian based action genre then this movie is for you. If not,
stay home I’m sure they’ll be something good on cable.

Classic Fragfest

As graphics technology improves in leaps and bounds for the next
pc generation, more and more gamers expect, and more or less
demand, new and innovating concepts to blow their minds.

However, there are some games out there that simply stand the
test of time for pure entertainment.

One of these games is Quake III Arena from ID Software.

This game still remains, after half a decade, as one of those
games that never seems to fade in appeal when it comes to going
one-on-one against a fellow gamer over the age of fourteen. (The
graphic nature of the game is not suitable for children.)

Whereas there is the impending release of Quake 4, which will go
more towards a storyline, Quake III Arena remains simple:
Deathmatch - Hunt down and kill your opponent. This is your only
task.

The game is a First-Person Shooter that takes place in a
futuristic world, with gameplay featured on a couple dozen core
maps. Your weapons, ranging from real to fantasy, deal out
devastating damage. Powerups throughout these maps give you more
speed, damage, etc; and each map is usually multi-levelled and
reachable by various bounce pads, stairs, and elevators. You
just have to watch around the corners, as you never know who’s
going to be camping there waiting to blow you away.

Now, whether your opponent be your best friend, your neighbor,
your teenage kid, or your wife; the joy of chasing them down and
eliminating their ability to exist as a whole entity will
continue to bring a smile to your face over and over again; and
if no-one wants to play against you anymore because you’re too
much of a savage, you can always play against bots.

The engine this game runs on is good enough to enable a
relatively intense dispersal of body parts from the shot gun
blast you administor to your victim, and yes, produces blood
splatter on walls and screams of agony. A midrange system can
handle all that the game offers.

The extra staying power of the game revolves around the creation
of new maps and bot models by gamers themselves; which can be
found for download at places like LvLWorld and Polycount.
Thousands of maps and hundreds of bots can bring a whole new
dimension to the game, and the creations continue to this day.
Take on Homer Simpson, Darth Vader, or the creature from Aliens
in maps ranging from being inside a computer tower , where you
are about two inches tall; to rampaging through a city, where
you can leap from the top of each building in a single bouncepad
… all the while trying to evade a plasma gun, rocket launcher,
or flamethrower.
